Mahama appoints Woelinam Dogbe as Deputy Director-General at SSNIT

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Woelinam Dogbe as the new Deputy Director-General of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), a key post overseeing Investment and Development (IDD) operations at the state-run pension scheme.

Mr.Dogbe brings more than 18 years of experience in banking, management consulting, and business strategy. He has held senior leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank, Fidelity Bank Ghana, and Bayport S&L, and has been involved in corporate governance through his board memberships at Agave Rural Bank PLC and Woezor Group Limited.

Prior to this appointment,Mr. Dogbe served as Chief Operating Officer at Woezor Group and Managing Consultant at Plankton Partners Limited, providing advisory services to companies across various sectors.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana, Mr.Dogbe is also an International Finance Corporation-certified Environmental and Social Risk Management Consultant. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ghana, Legon, and an MBA from the University of Bradford, UK.

With his extensive experience, Mr.Dogbe is expected to strengthen SSNIT’s investment strategies and contribute to the development of its long-term objectives.
