In a fiery critique of the current administration, former President and National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has taken aim at the Akufo-Addo-led government, accusing it of plunging Ghana’s economy into disrepute.
In a social media post, Mr. Mahama declared, “This Akufo-Addo and Bawumia government has allowed our economy to be classified among the worst-performing in the world.”
He further urged Ghanaians to take action, framing the upcoming December 7 elections as a critical turning point for the nation.
“Together, we must RESET Ghana,” he said, emphasizing the need for a fresh start to rebuild the economy and restore confidence in leadership.
Mahama’s call for change comes amidst growing concerns over Ghana’s economic challenges, including rising debt and high inflation. The NDC leader’s message has intensified the debate ahead of the general election, setting the stage for a decisive battle at the polls.
