Manchester United has released its financial results for the first quarter of the 2023/24 fiscal year, revealing a total revenue of £143 million and a modest profit of £1.3 million as of September 30.
Club CEO Omar Berrada highlighted the financial performance and outlined key developments aimed at revitalizing the club both on and off the pitch. “We are delighted to have appointed Ruben Amorim as head coach and remain committed to returning Manchester United to the top of domestic and European football,” Berrada said, signaling high hopes for the Portuguese manager’s leadership.
The club’s ongoing efforts to streamline operations also featured prominently, with Berrada confirming that cost and headcount reductions are “on track.”
Meanwhile, the Old Trafford Regeneration Task Force continues its work on the stadium’s future. “Once it has delivered its recommendations, we will take time to digest them and evaluate all options in the upcoming year,” he added.
