Nacee is ‘exceptionally talented’ – Mahama

Gospel singer Nacee has been praised by John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of Ghana’s National Democratic Congress (NDC), for his significant role in composing campaign songs for the party.

In an interview with Woerzor TV on December 2, 2024, Mahama lauded Nacee’s musical talent, particularly his expertise in sound engineering, and highlighted his ongoing contribution to the NDC’s election campaigns.

“Whenever someone excels in their field, it’s important to acknowledge their efforts,” Mahama said. “Nacee has composed several of our campaign songs, including ‘Onaapo’ and the recent ‘Kwen Kwen.’ He is exceptionally talented, and I consider him one of the best in Ghana.”

Mahama further explained that he often turns to Nacee for help with campaign songs, noting the musician’s thorough research into the party’s manifesto and his ability to capture its vision in his work.

Nacee thanked Mahama for the recognition, expressing his appreciation on his X (formerly Twitter) page. “I am deeply touched by your generous remarks, Your Excellency,” he wrote.
