NDC’s Joana Gyan Cudjoe Attacked, Six Injured in Incident

At least six supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Amenfi Central have been injured in an attack on the campaign entourage of parliamentary candidate Joana Gyan Cudjoes The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, November 30, in Adjakaamanso.

While returning from a campaign event, Gyan Cudjoe and her team were reportedly ambushed by a group of suspected thugs. The attackers damaged the campaign vehicle, smashing its windows, while the victims suffered injuries to their heads, hands, and legs.

Despite the violent assault, Joana Gyan Cudjoe was unharmed. The injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.

The incident has been reported to the Wassa Dominase Police Station, which has launched an investigation. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the assault.
