The General Secretary of Ghana’s governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has expressed confidence that his party will secure an “undeniable victory” in the upcoming December 7 general elections.

Addressing thousands of supporters at the NPP’s final rally at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Thursday, December 5, Kodua dismissed any efforts by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to disrupt the party’s path to success.

The rally marked the culmination of the NPP’s nationwide campaign ahead of the polls. Kodua assured the crowd that the NPP was fully prepared to retain power, citing the party’s policies and governance record as key to their expected triumph.

“We are winning the elections, and nothing can stop it. Bawumia is the incoming president, and the NDC cannot stop it,” Kodua declared.

He also accused the NDC of resorting to divisive tactics, including tribal politics and religious denigration, in a desperate bid to gain an advantage ahead of the elections. “Sensing their impending defeat, they have now resorted to these tactics,” he said.
