Omanhene of Asumagya Backs Dr. Bawumia, Urges NPP to Continue Development Projects

In a warm welcome to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Omanhene of Asumagya and Benkumhene of Asanteman, Odeneho Okyere Kusi Ntrama, expressed his support, and assured Dr. Bawumia of the support of his people ahead of the December polls.

During the Vice President’s recent visit, the Omanhene reassured Dr. Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of the community’s support, emphasizing that they would stand behind him and provide the necessary backing to ensure his success.

“We know why you are here,” the Omanhene said, addressing the NPP flagbearer. “You are here to seek our support and solicit our votes. We will help, we will be with you, and we will make it possible. Dr., we are with you, and we are behind you.”

The visit was part of the Vice President’s tour of the Ashanti Region. Dr. Bawumia later met with key stakeholders, including traditional leaders and religious figures, to discuss his policies and seek their support.
