President Akufo-Addo Welcomes New Qatari Ambassador to Ghana

President Nana Akufo-Addo has formally welcomed Khalid bin Jabr Al Musallam as Qatar’s new Ambassador to Ghana. The ceremony, held at the Jubilee House in Accra, saw the presentation of Ambassador Al Musallam’s credentials, officially marking his start as Qatar’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Ambassador Al Musallam conveyed greetings from Qatar’s Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, extending wishes for President Akufo-Addo’s health and well-being, along with prosperity for Ghana’s government and people.

President Akufo-Addo reciprocated with warm regards to the Amir, wishing him health and progress for Qatar. He also highlighted Ghana’s commitment to strengthening its longstanding ties with Qatar, particularly in diplomatic and economic fields.

The credential presentation reflects the ongoing strong relations between Ghana and Qatar, as both nations seek to deepen cooperation in various sectors for mutual benefit.
