President Mahama Nominates 10 Regional Ministers for Parliamentary Approval

President John Dramani Mahama has submitted nominations for 10 regional ministers to Parliament, seeking approval for their appointment. A formal communication has been sent to the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, requesting the vetting and approval of the nominees.

The regions covered by the nominations include Bono, Bono East, Central, Western, Western North, and Upper West. Once approved, the nominees will assume responsibility for overseeing regional governance and development.

The Regional Ministers include:

Northern – Adolf John

Oti – John Kwadwo Gyapong

Volta – James Gunu

Eastern – Mrs. Rita Akosua Adjel Awatey

North-East – Ibrahim Tia

Ashanti – Dr. Frank Amoakohene

Upper East – Akamugri Donatus Atanga

Ahafo – Charity Gardiner

Savannah – Salisu Bi-Awuribe

Greater Accra – Linda Ocloo, MP
