President John Dramani Mahama has directed the Attorney General to immediately begin investigations into the findings of the ORAL ( Operation Recover All Loot) Committee report, signaling his administration’s commitment to accountability and justice.

“I have instructed the Attorney General to commence investigations into the findings of the ORAL Committee without delay,” President Mahama announced on his X page on Tuesday, February 11th, 2024.

“The committee officially presented its report on Monday [February 10, 2025], and I expect the Attorney General to get to work.”

The ORAL Committee, chaired by the Foreign Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, was tasked with gathering information on alleged corruption and looting under the previous government.
