Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has clarified that Blakk Cedi, former manager of Stonebwoy, is not managing his career, despite circulating rumours. The speculation stemmed from a social media post by Blakk Cedi, where he thanked Shatta Wale for involving him in his performance at the Vybz Kartel Freedom Street Concert in Jamaica.

In the post, Blakk Cedi expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the team and praised Shatta Wale for his trust and respect. However, speaking to JoyNews’ Becky at Kotoka International Airport on January 8, 2025, Shatta Wale set the record straight, stating that Blakk Cedi’s role was limited to assisting with the concert, not managing him.

“Blakk Cedi’s involvement was just like JoyNews interviewing me,” Shatta Wale said. “Sammy Flex is still my manager. I have no problem with Blakk Cedi or Stonebwoy.”

Shatta Wale also expressed his gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support and promised to release more music and expand his business ventures in the year ahead.
