Ursula Owusu-Ekuful Denies Claims of Rejected Food for Election Agents

Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, has rejected claims that food provided by her team to party agents on election day was rejected by constituents.

In a statement, the MP dismissed the reports as “reckless and unfounded,” describing them as fabrications intended to damage her reputation. She criticised the claims as lacking factual basis and accused the source of failing to uphold basic journalistic standards of accuracy and fact-checking.

Owusu-Ekuful reaffirmed her commitment to the well-being of her constituents, asserting that any logistical support offered by her team on election day was warmly received.

The MP further characterised the reports as a “malicious attempt to sow discord” and undermine the trust she has built with her community over the years. She reassured her supporters of her continued dedication to serving Ablekuma West with “integrity and humility.”

She urged constituents not to be swayed by such unfounded claims and to remain focused on the electoral process.

Concluding her statement, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful declared: “Winning is a must.”
