“Congratulations to all Ghanaians on a successful election that reflects the will of the Ghanaian people. The United States looks forward to continuing our strong partnership under @JDMahama,” the post stated.

The Embassy also commended all the candidates who participated in the election, noting their commitment to a peaceful process and the smooth transition of power. This sentiment was echoed in the concession speech delivered by Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, which received widespread praise for its grace and call for national unity.

“We commend all of the candidates that stood for election this cycle and their commitment to peaceful elections and the transfer of power as so eloquently expressed in Vice President @MBawumia’s concession speech,” the post continued.

Reaffirming its support for Ghana’s democratic values, the U.S. Embassy highlighted the importance of democracy, underscoring the hashtag #DemocracyDelivers.
