The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has declared the parliamentary results for Dome Kwabenya, Okaikwei Central, Ablekuma North, and Tema Central constituencies invalid, stating they cannot be upheld.

EC spokesperson Sylvia Tettey confirmed that while re-collation of results had been successfully completed in three other constituencies—Suhum, Akwatia, and Fanteakwa North—the process in the four disputed constituencies did not comply with the required legal procedures under CI 127. Despite police presence at the collation centres, party supporters reportedly disrupted the process, forcing commission staff to declare results in favour of certain candidates.

Tettey further stated that in all four cases, EC officers were threatened and pressured to announce winners without following the proper procedures. As a result, the commission concluded that the results were illegal and cannot be validated.
