Ghana’s former President and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has announced that he will begin a 5-day campaign tour of the Northern Region on Monday, October 28, 2024.
On the first day, the NDC presidential hopeful is scheduled to meet and interact with residents of Chereponi, followed by a community engagement with the people of Saboba. Later, he will attend a mini community rally in Tatale before engaging with the people of Zabzugu.
In a social media post, Mr. Mahama urged party supporters to intensify their efforts as the election approaches.
“With forty days to the December 7 elections, I encourage you to join in stepping up the campaign for change,” the former President said.

Mr. Mahama is expected to begin his tour of the region with a visit to Chereponi.

This tour follows recent campaign stops in the Greater Accra and Upper West regions.
